I’ve known Mark for decades and he has always been the same guy you see today! Honest as the day is long, sensitive, and caring and not just about his animals and client horses, but the people he deals with daily and whoever may cross his path! The conversations are succinct and straightforward! No filter, you get the truth and it may not be what you want but it’s all laid out professionally and accurately. When his name came up for nomination to the Hall of Fame, there was no hesitation as to how I would cast my ballot. He won hands down in just two terms and rightfully so. Mark is a professional and gentlemen at all times. His wife Tina, his family & staff stand behind him as do his owners and I feel proud to say that he is one of my go to trainers! I also am proud to say he’s a good friend who I trust implicitly!

Mark is a dual Hall of Famer for a reason. He's a rare breed of racehorse trainer who can communicate with his horses and his owners equally as successfully. His operation is also unique in that he has a 1-stop-shop capable of controlling the stock under his purview from the Casse Training center to any number of his strings throughout North America. By having Casse Training Center it allows Mark to intimately know his horses and by having barns in multiple racing jurisdictions, it allows for him and his owners to identify the circuits where their runners can maximize their potential and productivity. Mark and Tina run an extremely well-rounded operation and organization on the whole
