West Point Thoroughbreds’ Counting Stars was counting Kentucky Oaks (G1) points after romping in Friday’s $1 million Fantasy (G2) at Oaklawn Park. Tracy Farmer’s homebred Search Party completed the Casse Racing exacta and also earned her spot in the Kentucky Oaks. Counting Stars improved her record to 4-1-0 in seven starts, and her earnings soared to $972,606 with Friday’s win. Besides her stakes efforts in the Fantasy and Honeybee, she took the Astral Spa Overnight Stakes and Year’s End Stakes in December at Oaklawn.
