Team Casse enjoyed a stakes double at Gulfstream Park over the weekend, with Vixen and Mi Bago both earning victories.
In the Herecomesthebride Stakes, Vixen prevailed to claim her first graded stakes victory under jockey John Velazquez for owners DJ Stable and Eclipse Thoroughbred Partners.
Gary Barber’s Mi Bago continued the stable’s success with a front-running triumph in the Colonel Liam Stakes. Guided by jockey Irad Ortiz Jr., Mi Bago led the ten-horse field from start to finish, completing the one-mile turf event in an impressive 1:32.51.
The weekend was capped off by Corruption, who secured his third straight win, stretching out to 12 furlongs on the turf for Eclipse Thoroughbred Partners.
